This product is in the form of tablet. This compressed tablet product is prepared by using hexachloroethane, Ammonium Chloride as main raw materials. The tablet is perfectly compressed tablet . The compaction is so important that it controls the rate of tablet dissolution ultimately leads to proper release of Magnessium molecules from molten aluminium metal.
In magnesium remover process the main object is to remove the dissolved Magnessium from the molten Aluminium Metal. Plunging of Demag -60 Tablet in the molten method is one of the methods for removing the dissolved magnessium from the molten metal. This product is in perfectly compressed tablet form. This compressed tablet remains in metal for maximum time & release magnessiums for long time. The chlorine gas & ammonia gas comes in contact with dissolved magnessium & removes the magnessium from the molten metal. More time gas evolution is better the degassing process. SP demag-620 tablet is very compacted tablet so it gives more time gas evolution; so maximum magnesium removes from the metal.
- Tablets are available in 50g & 250g forms. This is easy to apply for any size of melt
- Tablets are made from hexachloroethane &Ammonium Chloride chemical compound so there is not possibility of chlorine gas evolution at cold storage area.
Generally 0.30 to 0.80 % by weight of molten metal of all grades.
